I saw a lot of religion in my observations. And while I certainly don't lift myself above anyone, the scriptures are plain to me that there is major deception going on these days. Everything from the political realm to the 'spiritual' realm is proving to those that have eyes to see that what you see on the outside is not always the truth - especially in religion.
Simply stated: Religion is preparing people for the coming of the Antichrist first, not the 'real risen Christ! People are being taught the severity of God doctrine, which peak during the 'tribulation.' They are not being taught the dispensation of the grace of God' doctrine' from Paul! So all this talk about Jesus coming soon - is talking about the devil coming soon. I Peter 1:5:8 will become true - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: You do know that this verse is NOT TO us today. (nor is anything from Peter... or James... or Hebrews... or I II III John or Jude)
So, the comments on this page are more spiritual in my observations taken during this trip (or anywhere I go anymore) - with my simple answer that makes total sense spiritually, but not religiously! While it is true that I (or anyone else today) am no prophet, I do like to think I have learned to see things from a spiritual view. If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. I Corinthians 14:37
Who are "THE called"?
Everybody knows this verse and they hear it quoted all the time; although it is usually incorrectly quoted - of course! Romans 8:28, when correctly stated says, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
My question here is this: Who are 'the called'?
It doesn't say 'who are called...', it says 'who are THE called..."
Many years ago I did a word study on 'call / called' - which is still available somewhere on the original site. I found out it is US - the people who are choosing to follow Paul - it is us who are 'the called.'
You - Me!
Pastors, missionaries, teachers, etc. all say God 'CALLED' them into the ministry. People say that God called them to a certain country, city, etc. You hear men and women say they are called to be the spouse, etc. We have parents who say God calls them to have many children.
But take note: you will NOT find that personal 'calling' anywhere in Paul's writings anywhere! NONE! NOWHERE!
That is all gospel stuff, of course, if even that... it all rings of the holiness that people lift themselves up to based on their education, riches, desires, etc. and it is NOT based on any scriptural support. It makes great religious talk and gets people to be awe of you and it gets you financial support, but it is not scripturally factual - not true - it's a lie. It is said by people who are deceived while they are deceiving others by saying such lies. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. II Timothy 3:13
My point is as follows:
IF, and I mean IF, God were to 'call' anyone today for any ministry, etc. he would call the base bunch, not the successful, learned, educated, wise, trained people! For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. I Corinthians 1:26-29
If you were go back a few more verses and even check the context, you will see that God calls US - you and me - not to any fancy pastoral 'called' position, etc. but to live a life to please the living God as 'the called'
It certainly isn't based on our wisdom and brains. Sure, it certainly would be wise to know your Bible and to know it rightly divided, so you can talk with folks. But there is no personal ministerial calling. If they 'were' called of God, then God Himself says YOUR flesh would glory.
If you have noticed, in those educated, seminary trained, pastors, etc. and their Bible Institute grads, you will most certainly see their flesh would being gloried in their ministry, their building, their numbers, their music, etc. and not God - no mater what they 'say.' They express to their people that
Fortunately, with Paul, it is the other way around. We have that understanding because we can read a rightly divided KJB. It isn't US who glory, it is their pride in their education. We don't live by our faith, it is by HIS faith we life. We glory His words - we magnify His words even above His name. Our salvation is His - our Righteousness is His - our faith is His faith - our sword is His - our words are His words!
In other words, to those of you who have a pastor, your pastor was NOT called by / of God. He called himself through his own reasons.
But you? You are! You are called to serve the living God!
This is YOUR calling: So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. I Thessalonians 1:7-10
Remnant – is that us - the scattered Christians?
While there is plenty in the Scriptures about 'remnant,' we have to make sure we stay true to rightly dividing.
Of course, we do see that for the New Testament days, the true remnant is still to be Israel. Romans 11 explains all that quite well.
However, don't you feel like we could easily be called the remnant of the Gentiles? I mean, how many really want to follow a King James 1611 BIble? How many look to rightly dividing according to Paul's book instead of looking towards those dispensational scholars who claim to know which verse and even part of some verses goes to what dispensation?
Can you imagine writing a history book following the design of the s0-called right dividers today where they divide each verse? Can you imagine a history book full of facts etc but most of the 'new' stuff wouldn't be based on various books, but all the different facts and sentences and it would be up to the teacher to instruct each student to which part of history all those sentences would belong to? What a book of confusion that would be.
While we are NOT the remnant of Israel, I believe we could consider ourselves the 'unofficial' remnant of the Gentiles to whom Paul was sent. We are seeing so much of what is described to be the latter times (not last days!!), the falling away, good being called evil more and more, willingly not enduring sound doctrine, corrupting the words of God, the lying pastors everywhere, evil men, seducing spirits and doctrines of devils when compared to a 1611 KJB - the preparations for 666 and no cash, etc. Every day adds more to the list.
In the meantime, we stay with the KJB1611 knowing that our beliefs, our walk, our decisions and actions are based on the foundation of rightly dividing that KJ1611. We also know that those views and beliefs are now being under attack. We have already been shunned by friends, workers and even close family. There can't be much left.
Remant? Without a doubt - sure thing, but not officially. That word still belongs to the Jews. We sure have many of the same characteristics of 'remnancy,' don't you think?
PS - in fact, the application of 'scattered' is applied to the Jews as well. But you and I all know that we truly are scattered as they were during their dispensational time. They just chose to not listen to Paul and that was a big mistake on their part!
Fight for what you believe in! A physical or spiritual fight…
Maybe not you, but I sure have to remind myself who the real enemy is these days. I see pastors who are nice people but lying as much as a politician! I see the 'millennials' who are so far gone with their thinking, you can't even tell them when it is raining. The perverted crowd is growing in size and hate every day. I see the 'right' who is still as wrong as the 'left' when it comes to truth. I see patriotism as a religion to many. I see massive apathy among adults - just so they make their money and can play with their expensive toys, they are happy. I feel unsafe everywhere I do, even though I am a 'carrier.' I don't believe the 'law' would be fair if I were to be caught up in some issue. I see 'enemy' almost everywhere we go.
However, they are not the enemy! Let's remind ourselves who the enemy really is: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
We must keep our armour snug... don't let it loosen up through lack of use!
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
So let's continue to take Paul's direction here and stick with our calling!
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Sadly, but we can't be surprised... they make US their enemy... even as we are talking about the goodness of God, to them, we are their enemy! Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
Simply stated: Religion is preparing people for the coming of the Antichrist first, not the 'real risen Christ!
