I don't believe I have heard anyone say the 'right thing' to attract listeners today as much as I have heard from Andy Stanley. In fact, many of the common denominational pastors are against this guy.
Unfortunately, his words are still the subtle 'words of a stranger' that will draw people into the throngs of the coming anti-christ. He is no different than a man trying to repaint an old rickety barn; or a man trying to 'fix' a health plan that we shouldn't have in the first place, etc. There is nothing new from Andy Stanley, he is just saying things better than his 'teachers' have said.
Yes, those are strong words, but I believe without a shadow of doubt, Andy Stanley is simply another one of the serious threats to the truth during these latter times.

Why Am I Doing This, You Ask?
1) He is up to date with his analyzing of the ‘modern denominational church’ and that the kids and young people, known as millennials, are leaving the church and leaving what Andy calls "The Bible", etc. in droves. He certainly know how to say things to perk those itching ears who wonder what is going on in their church and home family.
2) I know of a number of folks who are in the same boat with their kids – and some are seeing it take place at this time. Maybe they can be rescued / prevented from making that fateful decision of a departure to another bad 'church' if I can show the parents how to approach that mess and how NOT to fall into Andy Stanley's visual rebellion, supposedly bringing those people closer to God and to Jesus. They just do not know that he is only bringing them closer to the coming anti-christ of Revelation 6, not to the risen and returning Christ of Revelation 19.
My analysis will be nothing new to most of my web family. They will just see it ‘in detailed action’ exposing the details of another one of those corrupted shysters who are so deceitful.
In this case especially, and as more and more people are wondering about those leaving their church, he is very capable of perking their interest enough to convince them to follow his teachings of the Gospels pre-crucifixion Jesus instead of the risen Saviour through Paul – and they will simply miss the truth again.
This guy is a marketing whiz and is rebellious enough towards the common church teachings, etc. today that he will get a following from those who are also disgruntled and simply follow his rebellion along with his good words and fair speeches.
I learned a long time ago that you don’t fight scholarship with scholarship… you fight it with simplicity and the truth, and just have to accept the obvious fact that people today won’t endure sound doctrine anyway – no matter how you dress it up!
In fact, you will see that my comments will pretty much be the same after a page or two, anyway. So it won’t be a big dissertation worthy of a masters degree… In the end, I may simply summarize it all, anyway.
There are many websites and big name pastors that go against Andy Stanley, which is what is making him so desirous and interesting for so many people. They don’t realize that he is no different than those churches that he is going against – they are all of the same foundation, the same cut, the same philosophy, etc. and yet so deceiving… he has suckered in people for years and now finally, at least in my boat, a KJB will rebuke him and his teachings.
The risen Saviour through Paul is the ONLY way to 'find God'. it is the only way to find clarity in your life. It is the only way to find the truth and then understand just how joyful it can be. Paul describes it as the riches of understanding.
Andy Stanley simply continues to teach "the way of God", as Jesus taught it to the Jews in the gospels (Matthew 22:16) and as all modern church denominations continue to so do. However, Paul teaches 'the way of God more perfectly' (Acts 18:26).
Paul and Paul only will shew unto you a more excellent way. (I Corinthians 12:31) Paul teaches the goodness of God (Romans 2:4) while Stanley, his own father, as well as ALL the other church denominations that he associates with for his learning, etc. teach the severity of God. (Romans 11:22)
Paul says, "Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ". Ephesians 3:8
