Worship? Really?
We see a short yet very valuable comment from Paul in Acts 17:24,25 when he was speaking in the midst of Mars' hill to the men of Athens. These guys were having a modern church service - with their 'devotion' their religious altar.
Sure sounds a lot like the 'churches' I have visited / belonged to / preached at / etc. with their cute little devotional sermons as well as the altar where they come up for their 'prayers', 'place of salvation', filling out their salvation / membership cards, 'private and tearful prayer', confession, for gathering around or even to aim their 'worship' performance, etc.
I truly enjoy reading what Paul told those guys... after beholding their 'devotions,' Paul told them they were ignorantly worshipping their UNKNOWN GOD! Isn't that just so true today? Churches today are filled with all their modern bibles, poetic sayings, devotional sweet sermons of good words and fair speeches, having it all topped off with their marvelous performances from the musicians in the congregation - choir - band - soloists, etc. in the name of worship. (...and we can't forget all those CD's that people buy from their local 'religious' bookstore as well as from the traveling evangelists and missionaries selling their music for income beyond what the church gives to them.)
But here is where Paul makes his 'killer' comments! We see in those two verses (24,25) some of Paul's greatest expose' on what is going on in today's worship extravaganza's in the churches - whether it be a large church with a fantastic music department or a small church with the few talented people in their congregation. Being a musician myself, I am aware and understand what goes through a musicians mind when he is performing. The question people like to ask a musician is, "Are you performing before the people or before God." Of course, being the 'humble Christian' he/she is, the answer will be "I am sharing my talents as I help you all worship God, etc."
Well, I will say this, that if they say they are performing before the people, then it is nothing but a mini-recital or concert - and is probably worthy of applause, etc. In fact, are you not hearing more and more applause in the musical portions of the 'worship service' in the churches today. To a musician, applause or "attaboy's" or compliments, etc. is one of the reasons they perform.
However, if someone answers that same question by saying they are "...performing 'before God" or are presenting their personal worship - or leading a worship service with their musical skill and talents, etc. then the risen Saviour, through Paul, has something to say to them! God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; ...
Does what Paul say here make sense to you? Read it slowly and carefully and you will see what Paul has to say about today's so-called 'worship' programs in the churches today.

1. God is NOT in a building anymore - that was the OT design, but not the NT design!
2. God is not 'at or near the altar' - you don't need to come to the altar to 'find God.'
3. God can not be worshipped with men's hands etc. God is God - He giveth to all life, and breath, and all things...
...who do you think YOU are that you think you can worship God through 'your measly self, anyway?
4. To you musicians - you may have worked hard practicing, etc. and may even believe your music is a 'gift',
but your worship 'with your hands/voices, etc. means nothing to God today.
God does not need your 'worship performance!'
(By the way, if you have ever had to practice, your music is NOT a gift from God...
...you simply practiced hard, long and often and many are glad you did - but God didn't 'give' you that talent, etc.!
If God had truly given you a gift of music, you wouldn't have needed to practice... think about it!)
5. Going to a church to worship, whether it be your own church or visiting some other church so you can join in their worship, is nothing but part of the ecumenical ploy to bring ya'll together into one global religion through joint-worship.
And if you look around in all the churches these days, you will see that has alreadybeen happening, it is happening today, and will continue to happen...
...all in the name of music, worship and the 'altar.'

Melody vs Music
Here are a few music observations I have made over the years and have mentioned them before but maybe some folks missed them as they were inside other sermons on music, etc. These also show the seriousness of changing words away from the KJB!
In Ephesians 5:19, we see in the KJB that we are to make melody in our heart to the Lord. In the modern versions, we see they changed the word 'melody' to the word 'music.'
Conclusion: God actually wants to hear melody - not just music. So, if anyone wonders why music is playing such a big part in the church today - you know, all that talk of 'worship', 'worship leaders,' etc. - we see that people think that any 'music' is pleasing to God, as long as it is from your heart, etc.
We can also see in the days of the Old Testament, in Amos 5:23, that even the melodies that they played on their viols did not please God. Take thou away from me the noise of they songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. Of course, the modern versions also change this reference of 'melody' to 'music.'
Today, melody bores people. They want the beat - the rock rhythm - the energy - the action that rhythm creates. Rhythm feeds the flesh - the beat, etc. Then you also have the fancy choirs that pride themselves in their harmony skills and think God must just love their harmonies as they perform their great 'arrangements' during their show-off concerts in their church.
When done in 'balance' the music elements of melody, harmony and rhythm all have their place in music. But we can't ignore that God wants to hear the 'melody.' Understanding that, we certainly can 'see' more of the devils agenda through music by his getting rid of melody and replacing it with flesh beating 'fun' musick that would include any and all kinds of musick!
Then, for the final thought - note that in Daniel 3, we see that when 'all kinds of musick' played, the people were to bow down to Nebuchadnezzar. So with King Neb being a type of antichrist, we can certainly see how 'musick' will be used by the antichrist - in fact, ALL KINDS OF MUSICK.
It sure is great to be able to see this stuff, isn't it! Simply from rightly dividing a King James Bible - and rejecting those modern versions.

It's Ok to Hate!
I am tired of being accused of being full of hatred and fear. I hear it all the time and one of these times, I am going to tell them how much I hate being told I am full of hate. :-) Just because the political scene is full of whining losers and the 'other side' doesn't know how to tell them to buzz off - and even the so-called 'conservative' media who claim to do their news 'fair and balanced', continue to give the real haters their time in the media, etc., I don't have to play that game.
However, I am going to make myself quit listening to it. I hate it! Their hatred towards me - my 'religious' and political thoughts and my desires for this country is so full of hate, I hate it! They hate so much that they can't even see their own hatred coming out! of their own mouth and actions.
I will say, though, I am still full of hate! However, most of my hatred is directed towards myself. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. Romans 7:15.
I also do have a little hatred left over for some other things. In fact, my hatred goes beyond hatred - it rises to the level of abhorring. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Romans 12:9 And in case you didn't know, 'dissimulation' means: an act of feigning; hypocrisy. So I am not going to fake a love or a hate - I won't be a hypocrite about it - my love will be real as will be my hate. I will strive to abhor (beyond hate) that which is evil. So the real discussion is to decide if what I abhor is evil or not, and living in the days when good is being called evil and evil good... I could be stirring the waters even more in the near future!
It is ok to hate - one just must hate the correct things and in the proper manner and then be ready to stick up for yourself from those who hate you! They hated Christ, they hated Paul - and they will hate you if you represent the words and teachings from the risen Christ as your Saviour and Paul as your only apostle in your King James 1611 Bible!

Scholars
Do you realize that someone who claims to be a scholar in the Religion World:
Scholars
Do you realize that someone who claims to be a scholar in the Religion World:
- Thinks they are smarter and better than God when it comes to 'knowing' what God thinks and says!
- Thinks they know what God really meant when He spoke to those so-called originals!
- Thinks that God shows them personally and through their heart and brain what the truth is for these days!
- Thinks they know what God 'should have said' instead of what He said in the Scriptures today!
- Thinks they are actually 'correcting' the Scriptures - even to the point ot completely saying the opposite
- Thinks they can do a better job of preserving their own writings through copyright laws than God could!
- Think they are blessed based on their education efforts of 'correcting' and 'fixing' the Scriptures!
- Don't realize what God actually says about them!

A Local Church to Attend - are you still trying to find one?
If you insist on attending a local church for whatever reasons you or your family come up with, you could at least set in your goals a desire to find one that is Scripturally designed.

If you insist on attending a local church for whatever reasons you or your family come up with, you could at least set in your goals a desire to find one that is Scripturally designed.
- We know it must teach and preach a rightly divided King James Bible!
- We want to know the music pleases God and doesn't please your flesh!
- We know that ONLY the affairs of Paul as well as his manner of life must be preached as proper application today!
- We know that the entire KJB must be taught by knowing what is TO and what is FOR the congregation!
But how many of us are able and willing to seek the proper design of the entire local church - you know, things such as the goals, the objectives, the plans, the purpose, etc.?
I would hope you would know the design of the local church is to be based on Paul's teachings in Ephesians chapter 4. I would also hope you would be able to spot 'a mile away' any and all local churches that are still designed after the OT and Acts 2.
You can't? Well, here is a quick summary and check-list for you.

The Old Testament / Gospels 'former' design of the church Acts 2:41-47 From the past - yesterday! |
The New Testament Paul's design of the local church. Ephesians 4:12-32 The Present - today! |
water baptism |
pastor's job is to 'perfect the saints' |
growing numbers |
pastor's job is to lead the work of the ministry |
apostle's doctrine |
pastor's job is to edify the body of Christ |
apostle's fellowship |
come in the unity of 'the' faith |
breaking of bread together |
come in the knowledge of the Son of God |
prayer groups, etc. |
lead the people unto the stature of the fulness of Christ |
fear upon every member |
pastor's job is to make the people doctrinally solid |
people have all things in common |
They all speak the truth... in love |
parted their goods and possessions to everybody's needs |
increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love |
happily met in church & homes all the time, potlucks, etc. |
they should learn to walk NOT as the lost world walks |
had favour with the people in the community, etc. |
pastor's job is teach the people how to put on the new man |
church grew in numbers - as 'elected' are to be saved, etc. |
learn how not to grieve the holy Spirit of God |
My best to you in your hunt for a local church. However, I have found that most folks are so addicted to church-going, they are willing to forgo the truth for a social gathering place. Often, it is the ladies who have to be together - most men know something is wrong within their church but don't want to take the chance of either supposedly hurting their family or the fear of having to take over the spiritual needs for the family.
Churches today are 1) preaching false doctrine; 2) designed after Catholic traditions; 3) prepping people for the coming of the antichrist; 4) extorting money from the people; 5) led by the women as they claim the Holy Spirit works through them; 6) taking over the children and teens with ungodly music and 'works' doctrine; and more - it is a mess these days.
It didn't used to be that way, however. There was a time in America where people read the King James Bible for themselves - and the conclusion was simple and obvious: follow the Risen Christ through Paul and act like a Christian, God's grace being sufficient. Then the Great Commission came on strong and destroyed the local church in America. That is another bible study sometime!
For now, the 'church' is the body of Christ, wherever you are located - and if you have some folks getting together learning about the risen Saviour, great! Just don't get caught up in another mess. Paul is not a denomination - nor is Paul's walk the 'law.' Remember, those non-denominational groups are still a denomination and a false one at that!
Oh, I could go on forever, eh!

Voices in the World That are Disappearing Today!
As we near the time of Jacob's trouble, the Tribulation as we call it, many things are starting to 'take shape' more than ever. We are seeing more in the miracle world (II Thessalonians 2:9-10); we are seeing the local churches being 'Tribulation Doctrine' prepared by their deceiving and being deceived pastors and pastorettes (II Timothy 3:13); we are seeing the fast approaching famine '...of hearing the words of the Lord (Amos 8:11-13); we are seeing the 'falling away' that must take place before we see that man of sin be revealed (II Thessalonians 2:3); we see more and more of folks who will not only endure sound doctrine but are actually heaping to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and are turning away their ears from the truth (II Timothy 4:3,4); ... should I go on?
Sure, let's go on. Looking to Jeremiah, we see some things that are quickly disappearing from our 'the home of the free and land of the brave,' etc. - I am not too sure that our flag will be flying much longer no matter how hard someone tries to make America great again!
We see in Jeremiah the following things that disappeared from the Israelites when they perverted and rejected God's words; I can see the same thing happening to the Gentiles as follow in the Israelite footsteps! (Jeremiah 23:36; 33:11).

Here is your chance to write your own sermon. Look at the definitions of some of the words from that list - and you will see that the present status of the local church, the employment market, the preaching and teaching from the KJB, music in the home and church, the false testimony of the modern so-called Christiand and the sad and frustrating state affairs of the sincere & truly saved 'christian' today as we see those voices continue to 'fall away' more and more each day, hour and even minute!
