Paul talks about the brethren all the time. In fact, just about all of what Paul talks about is directed TO the brethren. While I believe we are living in the latter times and are approaching the tribulation more and more each day, we continue to hear and see more and more 'flavours' of tribulation taking place every day as the devil has been working towards his final goal of being like the most High.
In this series, I deal with 1) How did Satan accomplish his goal; 2) "Are the brethren truly brethren today?"

A prominent pastor told a major news outlet that his number one mission is to make hearing from God normal for everyone. This totally smacks of Global Religion - and we certainly see this trend today.

32. William Carey Started The 'Great Commission' Lie Taught in Today's Churches
The Great Commission, as it is called today, was the commission given to the 12 apostles by Jesus Himself. However, it was given to the Jews to go out into the world, etc. It was not a time for Gentiles. Paul's commission was also given to him by Jesus Himself and is located in Acts 13:47. It is what I call the 'Greater Commission.' It is the commission given to Paul to go to the ends of the earth and was directed towards the Gentiles during the dispensation of the grace of God.
Here are some bits of information on William Carey, the so-called 'Father of Missions,' whom I also call the 'Father of the Great Commission.'
