6/03/2017 - A person could study themselves to death, ya know… there is so much flooding into the ‘brain waves’ these days and those who 'think they are in the know,' mostly just study, study, study, thus the verse that tell us about those folks who are ever learning, and never able to to come to the knowledge of the truth. And there is the verse in Daniel ..many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
But most of you who read my website don’t get caught up in that race to the Brain Olympics… but we do find some things interesting, don’t we! For me, I now like to touch on certain subjects, do a basic presentation and then back off - learning from the past that the time spent to do deep isn't all that beneficial to some, anyway. I want readers and then doers, but I don't want followers. Ha - like if that is a problem, anyway. :-)
I tend to keep my thoughts quite simple – I bet you have figured that out by now… must either be the Paulson in me – or a lazy brain, or an aging thing that we develop over time... thus the internet is always so difficult and frustrating for me.
I would rather just play some piano pieces (if I had a piano anymore) and have some conversation on the bible itself(if I had people I could talk with), mostly from Paul, too, as I see that as most important. Then I still enjoy the gospels, of course, and read how Jesus worked the Jews… and then some of the OT, but not the genealogy or the wars, Babylon bondage, or all that prophetic stuff that gets written about in thousands of books, etc. I even save on my interest for Peter, James, I II III John until when what I want to see what is coming for other folks - or I want to expose another pastor preaching Tribby stuff instead of Paul's stuff.
In all of it, I constantly am reminded of sermon subjects I have heard over the years from all the wrong places in the bible – and as good as they were, those good words and fair speeches, were so false in leading us into a ‘religion’ of either bondage, guilt or conceit if we were being good Christians, etc. Such a waste of years – but that is what life is all about and when we finally get older (although it seems to have come so quickly)… we can much easier look back and see what happened, be it good or bad.

6/01/2017 - God bless America, right? There is that desire to make America Great Again, of course. But is there a dangerous teaching involved here concerning true Christianity? Yes, there is. And after you read this, I hope you will gain an even more understanding in just how dangerous it is to the truth! It is called Reconstructionism - and it uses the wicked Great Commission for its foundation - and while it seems to be patriotic to the core, it is nothing but another avenue for the devil to try to get closer to being like the most High.
