My New Life
When considers what the 'new life' is, one has to remember that it isn't based on what WE do, no matter how hard the preachers preach and no matter how hard they try to get us to live the "Beatitudes from the Good Book," as they tend to put it.
One of the (many) greatest things about knowing the RISEN SAVIOUR through PAUL, we find out that our 'new life' that we do, or should I say, attempt to do, is a 'result' of what the risen Saviour did TO me and FOR me. It is our reasonable service, according to Paul in Romans 12.
A good and exciting 'word study' I have done is on the word 'made.' You will see what the Saviour MADE concerning us! Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. II Corinthians 5:17
Do many folks even know what that verse really tells us about ourselves? I have a number of sermons on that particular subject - and I have presented my word study on the word 'made.' I heartily suggest either you find my stuff or to make it even more meaningful, I really suggest you do your own study. Look up all the verses in Paul's books that have the word 'made' and you will just be reminded what it really means to study to shew thyself approved. You will see just how approved God made you!
A famous quote in one of my favorite 'cowboy' movies says, (with one word added by yours truly), "I ain't gonna spit on my [new] life!" When we give-up and give-in so we can return to our old ways, we are basically spitting on the new life that Christ not only gave us, but on the new life He made us to be. I am happy to spit on my old life, but not my new one!
For those who like a P.S', here ya go. We are no longer made in the image of God, as so many preachers preach. The image we have now is a fallen image. No matter how many kings and horses, no matter how many new liberal thoughts are generated, and no matter how many New Age Environmental teachings try to fix things, the only One who can put us back together again is Christ Himself! For those of us who believe in the risen Saviour, He has completed two out of three 'fixes' - however, there is yet one more part to go - and that will be fixed at our Judgment seat of Christ! So don't let anyone convince you that they they are made in the image of God thus God already knows them, etc. That is simply not true. Just read the first few chapters of Genesis. The curses still exist and reprobates still reign!

Too Many Choices
Today, we have to choose from many different types; different brands; different sizes; different colors; different 'improved' products - the list can go on forever. If it wasn't for the cellphone, we men wouldn't know what to buy at the local store from our wife's list anymore. Just saying the 'product' means nothing.
Now we even have labels that actually list what chemicals are in the foods. We even get to ask if any animals were abused in the testing of the product. We wonder if the various items of clothing were made in America or in sweat shops in other countries. People even purchase cars based on the 'options' that the dealer threw in, knowing those options are more important to the buyer than the actual quality, performance and or cost of the car itself.
Then we have these huge parking lots that we will drive around forever looking for that perfect spot closest to the door.
Ah yes, America - the land of the free - and the land of the choices! Man, the questions we have to ask others and/or are asked to us these days.
Then we also have hundreds of hundreds of denominations; specific local churches; even variations from within one's own denominational flavor. People can choose which pastor or which musical 'worship team' they want to follow.
To make matters even more complicated, they have hundreds of various 'bibles' they can choose from. Surely, they can find a bible that fits their belief! When they do, they can then go find a church that matches their belief. If that doesn't work, they can either start one or at least find one that will agree to disagree with them and will exhibit a 'love' that will allow them to happily attend, oh, AND a place for them to give their money...of course.
Those that want the 'Christian' religion can choose how to define and describe what a 'christian' is. Once they decide, then they can choose between the twelve apostles or Paul for their doctrine. And if that doesn't confuse people, they can search all over YouTube or Farcebook and find a preacher / teacher that will please them with their good words and fair speeches. If they want a preacher who preachers 'hard' or with a tear soaking hankey, they can be easily found. If they want a woman preacherette, or a good teacher with his / her whiteboard - they are all out there for the pickin's.
The list goes on and on, which reminds me of the words, "And the beat goes on, the beat goes on. Drums keep pounding a rhythm to the brain. La de da de de, la de da de da".
And there is more:
Do you want to be water baptized before, during, or after your salvation... or do you think you need to be baptized to obtain one's salvation? Do you want to be baptized in a lake, in a tank, in a swimming pool, or in a river - knowing that have to decide 'when' - now or wait until summer when the water is warmer? Do you want to be sprinkled or dunked... as a baby or an adult?
How about the Lord's Supper... every Sunday, once a week, yearly - and what if you miss one? One silver plated chalice or a bunch of little 'shot glasses' or paper cups. Fermented wine, store bought wine and if wine, then what proof? Grape juice - ok, but alcohol or straight? What brand - organic or with sugar? Buy the wafers or make them at home? Yeast or non-yeasted? Saltine or homemade crackers... or bread? Bread crumbs or pick from the same loaf to be passed around? And for those with confirmation, what if you don't pass the class? Can you take it over? and over?
Of course, many of us realize that all those choices bring in the potential for 'another Jesus'. And of course, there are many choices for which Jesus one wants. The Jesus of severity; Jesus, Satan's brother; Jesus of all various denominational descriptions, etc.
Do you get the picture?
Yet, going to one Bible - one Scriptures, we can find the simplicity that is in Christ as we see the importance of the word 'one.' Ephesians 4:4, There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Isn't that comforting! One Bible rightly divided; one Apostle rightly followed! It all seems so easily understood and yet that simple concept of 'one' - 'unity' etc. seems to be ignored, rejected and hated by those who would rather make their own choices, design their own walk, pick their own Jesus and 'believe' in their own god - which often is just in themselves with their own faith, anyway.
It all sure seems unnecessary to me! But of course, it is still your choice... However, I have made mine and will stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made me free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (see Galatians 5:1)

Martin Luther and His Thoughts on the Pope
When President Trump gave the pope a famous quote from Martin Luther King, I wonder if the pope enjoyed reading those first two names - "Martin Luther." Click on the title to read some quotes from Martin Luther about what he thought of the pope when he took out his hammer and pounded his thoughts onto the church doors. Too bad Martin Luther didn't go further away from the Catholic doctrine, though. He hung onto a lot of the pope's teachings - today's Lutheran Doctrine is simply a 'lazy catholic' doctrine.

Heartbeat of Mother Earth
I Think NOT! Click the 'red' title to read an article where you can read for yourself what THEY say about their spiritual belief when it comes to those ever increasing in popularity, the pow wow. If you are comfortable with Scriptures - the KJB, then you can safely read this and should spot each and every little false teaching.
Being in the upper plains, called the Dakotas, we hear and see a lot about the Indian past. I also now believe you will also notice today of their popular return. I could write a bunch about this 'return' and the dangers of it, etc. However, I will just throw a little bit into the 'experience' called a pow wow.
Not only do you read about how truly 'ungodly' and 'devilish' a pow wow is, what I really want you to also read and take notice is what THEY say about the importance of the drum.
If you know of anything of what I say about the musical element 'rhythm' and the damage it has done, is doing and how the devil is using the 'beat' to draw this world together into a global society, then you will be able to read what THEY also say about the importance of the 'drum' - in other words, how they use the beat.
They even admit they don't need words in order to respond spiritually - they just need the drum beat.
So, read in THEIR words about their "Indian" spirituality and as you look around, you will see this New Age spirituality growing as fast as anything. Apparently we didn't learn anything from General Custer as they are all on the warpath again... but this time, it is us who are inviting them into our homes and are joining up with their spirituality this time around.
It is a very short article.

More Sticky-Note Comments: These are a few of my thoughts/comments I have written down recently while either teaching or making observations during my last few weeks of teaching this year.
- Have you noticed how difficult it is to have 'Discussion without Emotion'? I have a passion for teaching music, as well as Biblical subjects, of course - however, most folks express themselves these days with emotions. Controlled emotion is passion and having passion for a particular subject certainly is an ok thing; but passion without control is simply nothing but pure emotion. Passion can generate some spectacular discussions and teaching moments but emotion just causes problems and pretty much limits the maturity and depth of any conversation or discussion.
- Passionate teaching, or as Paul puts it, pastors AND teachers in Ephesians 4, promotes 'pushing' folks to express their thoughts - and even causes some to think about what you are saying. I have always tried to preach while I teach - and teach while I preach and Paul describes it. It used to work - but these days, people don't seem to be able to endure that sort of conversation anymore. II Timothy 4:3,4.
- Teachers are no longer encouraged to 'teach'. Instead, we must be 'Learning Coaches'. We can only assist those who are wanting to learn, and that assistance is to be kept at a minimum. We must allow the students to learn what they want and when they want. That simply opens them up to the New Age spiritualists, racial switchers and the 'snowflake' liberal mentality who continue to teach and push their agenda. However, if any of 'us' want to 'teach' or 'push' our thoughts, etc. towards them, they respond with anger, accusations, etc. and often times, they respond angrily and violently. That must have something to do with Isaiah 5 about good being called evil, etc. Don'tcha think?
- With students being absent from the classroom more and more these days... (yes, they are - either from sports activities or other 'important' activities), it is becoming near impossible to be passionate towards the students learning the subject you were hired to teach. We can only 'teach' them if they if 'they want to learn,' if they are even present in the classroom' and/or if we are even allowed to teach the standard curriculum that is quickly becoming obsolete and politically incorrect. It sure does take the incentive away from being a teacher, doesn't it! During all of this, the new liberal teachers are coming out of the colleges in droves and are being hired in the schools all across the country - and THAT is what has been and continues to change our country!
- Not only is there less freedom of 'religion' in this country and not only is there less freedom of 'speech' in this country, there is less freedom to 'think' in this country. In fact, I see more and more students these days who are totally incapable of thinking at all. They are being trained to allow technology to be their thinking machine, doing the thinking for them! No wonder robots will be accepted so well.
- We, as KJB following, risen Christ following, Paul following Christians, do not think like the world. In fact, we seldom even think like the modern 'christian' anymore. In real fact, we don't think like most people any more at all. But if one were to do a word study on the word 'mind' in a KJB, we would see that we really can't think like anyone else. We just don't think like they do anymore because, if we keep reading and learning the KJB, we can't! I'm ok with that, aren't you?
- Question: Is today's music the 'cause' of our kids being the way they are or is today's music a 'result' of the kids being the way they are? When I was a kid in the early rock days, I have no doubt that the music caused me / influenced me into the way we became. I tend to think things haven't changed at all with the power of music being what it is. When people have meetings, discussions, etc. about kids behavior and I try to get them to consider the music the kids listen to... I am laughed right out of the meeting / discussion. Whatever!
- Music today - ALL KINDS OF MUSIC - has been taken over by Satan to:
- 1) rob God of His true glory and praise because of the junk music going on in the churches, etc.
- 2) rob folks of a true salvation as all the 'christian' music preaches false gospel and 'another Jesus';
- 3) bring in Global movement
- 4) be the power behind the ecumenical movement;
- 5) destroy the minds of the youth.
- As a teacher, I have had to learn AND accept that I can no longer
- 1) 'teach' in a teachy way;
- 2) expect learning to take place;
- 3) push anyone (student or adult) to grow, learn, respond or do;
- 4) expect any thinking to come about as a result of my 'teaching'.
- I remember when years ago, I was playing some actual witchcraft recordings taken from a witches Satanic worship session - and I recognized the rhythm to a Beach Boys song... exactly! So, I taught that awareness and knowledge to the students / parents, etc. and was eventually 'let go' from that teaching position. I mean, people, the music kids were listening to was exactly the same rhythmic pattern that was used in a Satanic worship! And now, that Satanic stuff is everywhere! Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
