Ya know, I have been around the block enough over the years to have seen when people would get angry when you talked about their denomination; then there were years when they would get angry when you talked about their church. Then, over the years, that anger only came out when you talked about their bible and KJB, etc. Then, in recent years, people would get angry when you would talk about their music.
But now, in 2016, they don't even want to talk with you about anything! They just reject it all because they 'know in their heart' that they are blessed by God... or they have come to believe there is no God. - mostly because of how their 'religion' failed them. So they just don't want to hear any of it anymore.
Well - I am still going to put some stuff here on music for that rare bird who wants to learn about what God says about music. Music is the second most mentioned subject in the Bible - second to Jesus Christ Himself. It has been one of the most amazing studies I have done for myself - second to the King James Bible in my own life (as I have been in music since the late 1950's).
A rightly divided study on music is one of the most fascinating studies any musician can spend their time on! It will change your music and it will change you - but not in ways you think - or are afraid of! Go ahead - jump in - "Mikee liked it" - so will you!
PS - If you are not a musician - or if you don't understand the language of music, may I highly recommend you do these studies anyway! You are dangerously susceptible to following the wrong voice because you do not understand the voice of music. The warning is in I Corinthians 14:10-11: There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification. Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.
